Hand-stitched from reclaimed sari cloth in a geometry of black, rose, emerald and cream, an unhurried graphic.
Triangle upon triangle, each one leaf like by hand with a fine running stitch.
The pattern has the feel of a naive hillside,  seen from above.
This is a larger kantha. It carries a room. Across a bed, over a sofa, folded at the end of a deep chair.
Dimensions: Larger than standard — approximately 160 × 230 cm.
Slight variations in size, colour and stitching are part of what makes each kantha unique.
