Under a Star was founded by Prunella Hanbury and Michael Parsons, shaped by a life lived between Ireland and India and a shared commitment to culture, craft, landscape, and thoughtful hospitality.
Their work spans interiors, gardens, destination stays, and curated clothing and homeware collections, developed through close collaboration with artisans, local communities, and the environments each project inhabits.
Rather than imposing a fixed aesthetic, they allow places to guide the outcome — respecting material integrity, cultural continuity, and the quieter rhythms that give spaces lasting relevance.
At its heart, Under a Star creates environments that feel grounded yet uplifting — places where people can reconnect with beauty, nature, and a deeper sense of home.
